COVID-19

Gymnastics World of Georgia has always been known for our high standards of cleanliness.  However, during this unprecedented time, we have also implemented the following policies and procedures:

  • All individuals entering the building will sanitize their hands upon arrival.

  • All staff will have their temperature taken upon arrival.

  • All staff and other adults entering the building must wear a mask at all times while in the building.

  • We highly encourage parents to drop their child off if possible to limit the number of people coming and going, as well as congregating in the facility.

  • If parents remain in the building, we ask that only one adult per family and no additional children come in the building.

  • We ask that all dance and preschool classes are watched via the monitors in the main lobby so that we don't have people congregating in the halls or at the windows.

  • We ask that the chairs in the lobby remain as they are placed to encourage physical distancing.

  • The party room/back observation area is closed to spectators at this time, as we are using that room for alternative activities in order to spread the children out.

  • The water fountains are closed, so all children need to bring their own water bottle.

  • Class sizes have been reduced, and the number of groups in the gym at any one time has been reduced.

  • Hard surfaces, such as mats, are sanitized in between each class group.

  • Children are spread out as much as possible during class.

  • Our competitive team gymnasts will enter through the back of the building to limit traffic through any one door.
